We enjoyed a brief visit to Reserves Park. They have a nice and clean playground area, it was not crowded but it was a colder day in early January when we visited. I utilized the walking trail which offers some exercise recommendations along the route. My daughter played in the park area which is nice as it is centered along the lake in the middle of the walking path. Making it easy for us parents to catch some cardio while your kids can enjoy the park and play. A nice little cozy park that also offers a DISC golf course for an additional amenity. I recommend stopping in if you are in the area, enjoy!

A decent little park. There's a path around the fishing lake that connects to a different nearby park. There are signs posted saying a fishing license is required. There's a covered shelter with some tables. There are also tables for dining around the trail. The restroom is just a port-a-potty. I did not go inside so I'm unsure how clean it is. This park has no drinking fountain, so be sure to bring water if you'll need it.

Nice playground for younger children, with two wheelchair accessible features. Small pond, with fishing permitted. Frisbee Golf course. Shelter with picnic benches. Port-a-potty only. Great space for dogs. Pathway connects to Fort Liberty Playland, which is worth the walk.

Reserves Park is a hidden gem for those looking for a quick and easy outdoor escape. The well-maintained paved out-and-back trail, which is approximately 1 mile long and takes around 15 minutes to complete, offers a peaceful retreat from the bustling city. Although the park sits next to a busy highway, the trail provides a serene escape that is only briefly interrupted by the occasional engine noise. The entrance to the park is greeted by the massive Fort Liberty Playland, a children's playground that adds to the park's peaceful and family-friendly atmosphere. As you make your way along the trail, you'll come across a disc golf course, and I even witnessed two people playing during my visit. Halfway through the park, there is another entrance and parking lot, as well as a smaller children's playground for younger visitors. The west end of the park features a tranquil lake that offers a refreshing break. During my visit, the park was bustling with activity, with many people walking their dogs, playing with their children, or simply enjoying the sunshine. Reeves Park may not be the most spectacular park, but its simple and unassuming charm is what makes it special. I would highly recommend a comfortable pair of walking shoes for your hike, and consider bringing your children or pets along for a fun and enjoyable experience.

I played the disc golf course in this park. It's 9 holes, all fairly short distance (150-300ft) and mostly flat, a slight uphill walk on a couple holes. The tee pads are rubber and are noticeably uneven. For me it was okay as I plant in one spot for my initial drive off the tee. This course is good for an easy quick play (30min). There is a considerable walk between hole 3's basket and hole 4's tee pad, but the rest of the course was intuitive to find your way to the next tee. The tee signs and baskets were in good condition.
